Charities We Give A Poop About
In the last 16 years, over 50,000 sick, injured and orphaned wild animals have received medical attention at Toronto Wildlife Centre (TWC). As the first wildlife centre in Canada with a wildlife veterinarian on staff, TWC has become an authority on medical care and rehabilitation of wildlife. TWC’s Wildlife Hotline (which receives approximately 30,000 calls each year) helps people and organisations with every kind of wildlife situation imaginable. This service is the busiest of its kind in North America, and is internationally recognized. TWC is a registered charity and supported entirely by donations. The goal is simple: release as many animals as possible back to the wild where they belong, healthy and free. www.torontowildlifecentre.com
