The Scouts Canada Foundation helps raise funds for over 4,500 Scout groups across Canada. In 2008 the Scouts Canada Foundation launched No One Left Behind -a grant program to provide financial assistance to help children so they can join and participate in Scouting -regardless of their family’s financial situation. All members of Scouting participate in local fundraising but sometimes money needed for camps etc is not fully raised and the child’s parents will “top-up” any shortfall. Some parents, facing financial difficulties, cannot top-up fundraising and these kids are eligible for No One Left Behind support.
